Ireland

Well, the program works nicely here in Ireland. At least with the Cork Cable network. One (small) problem is that the provider does not stick to any standard frequency table. Thus, I have to search for the stations and fine tune them manually. Unfortunately, once I have assembled a corresponding config file, it will become obsolete in a few weeks, because they change the frequencies from time to time (I believe the official hardware decoders can be addressed and notified about such changes so that the lawful costumer does not notice anything).

Here are two shots of CableTV on the Cork Cable network (Ireland). CableTV was compiled with -march athlon and is running with the -r2 switch. It gives me full 25 fps on my 1Ghz Athlon machine.

Netherlands

From: Marcel J.E. Mol

Per your request I want to let you know cabletv runs fine on my systems equiped with hauppauge tv cards and viewing Canal+ in the Netherlands. At the moment I do not have a screenshot...
Sometimes I am able to 'lock' the picture. Other times I can't. Can this be improved? Esnel windows program was/is able to lock almost always automatically.
Is was thinking on looking through the source and include code to react on certain part of the screen to help locking. Canal+ (almos) always has this blue or red block in the right corner that could be used for that. Unfortuantly I have nothad much time to look at it and it is not that easy to understand the code when you just start with it :-(

Spain

From: AGUS <agus@imansi.net>

Cabletv works in Spain using a connection supplied by "AunaCable MENTA". I suppose I could perfectly work all over Spain for all those who reach AunaCable lines.
